Powerspike is a gaming-industry focused influencer marketing agency. Their goal is to create a more accessible platform for brands and creators to collaborate; No more need for a manager, knowing a big name brand, or being A-list talent.
How do you create a platform where both creators and brands can work together in harmony? Well, the team at Powerspike created the answer to that. Now all they needed was a brand to align with their vision and services. With a potential audience of 1 billion+ people and over 2 billion games in existence, we had to make sure that we could talk to the right sub-group without alienating the rest.
Integrating with the leadership team and determining the company’s core focuses was our first plan of action to help set the stage for the creative rollout that would follow. We walked the leadership team through a brand strategy workshop and dove deep to truly understand the Powerspike brand and it’s offerings in order to give us a clear path forward on language, visual, and experiential deliverables.

Once the workshop and strategy was completed, a unified voice and image was ready to be built upon. Powerspike is the place for brands and creators to create collaborations that benefitted both parties. It didn’t matter what product or managed service was provided as long as it worked towards the mission. Using that omni-present approach, various creative items were developed and executed upon to support the strategy and tactics across sprints and larger scale projects.
Working with an agency has it’s own set of challenges and Powerspike proved no different. With it’s startup nature, each day would bring a different set of tasks and challenges that would test our ability to command a brand. Our focus had to shift from internal brand projects to large scale client campaigns ideation and executions. We are only human, so naturally we had to clearly define how to delegate our work to vendors and freelancers while maintaining Powerspike and the client’s brand image when there wasn’t enough hours in the day.
