MemeCult is a new online brand that sells parody and meme-culture related goods. The brand was in need of a simple visual identity to get its store launched.
From the get-go, it was apparent that MemeCult’s brand wasn’t too serious in how it took itself. After all, we’re talking about shirts with memes on them. To help reflect that loose approach, the brand’s logo features a bold, handwritten wordmark. The brand’s visual identity revolves around the products and their presentation, so we kept it simple with a minimal color palette to let the photograph
